5 Reasons You Should Trust Your Doctor
Oh my goodness gracious me, trusting the medical establishment is SUCH a no-brainer
Wait. What say you? I must be having trouble hearing. You feel suspicious that your doctor doesn’t have your best interests front and center in that oh-so-big doctorly heart around which is slung a stethoscope? You’re thinking maybe, just maybe, you might not want to trust your doctor?
Neighborinos! What in the didly ding dong?
There are so many reasons you should trust your doctor, just like you should trust the CDC. And everyone knows blind trust is the best kind! Especially when you’re a teenage girl and an older boy says, trust me, you won’t get pregnant.
Ready for my top five reasons you absolutely must trust your doctor, with every single one of your cardiomyocytes? Here goes":
You don’t mind dying.
Iatrogenic errors are the #3 leading cause of death in America. Iatrogenic means “doctor caused.” Doctor mistakes are responsible for over 250,000 deaths a year, according to Johns Hopkins University.
Me, I love dying.
I’d definitely rather trust my doctor to be right than live a long, healthy vibrant life. I wouldn’t dream of getting a second opinion or finding an alternative healer. That would be way too woo.You know 18 minutes is plenty of time to get a definitive diagnosis.
The average primary care exam lasts about 18 minutes, according to a peer-reviewed article published in 2021.
You know with utter certainty that less than twenty minutes is absolutely positively enough time for your doctor to know what’s best for you, better than you know what’s best for you, of course.
Plus, it’s always nice to be hurried. And to be made to feel unimportant. You love having healthcare providers with conflicts of interest.
We know that doctors prescribe more of a drug when they receive money from the company that makes it. A ProPublica investigation found that, on average, medical doctors who received pay-outs prescribed 58 percent more of their Big Pharma Sugar Daddy’s drug than doctors who didn’t take the kickbacks.
But your doctors don’t just receive money. They also get “free” samples of medicine for family and friends, “free” business trips, “free” catered lunches, “free” “educational” seminars and trainings, and even “free” vacations.
And do what if all that “free” stuff for them translates into more expensive care for you?
C’mon, people! All the kickbacks just make it that much more certain that your doctor exercises the best judgment when recommending medicines and treatment options. Duh!You think cruelty is a great way to practice the healing art of medicine.
Since the beginning of concerns about COVID-19, conventional medical doctors and their professional organizations have insisted that SARS-CoV-2 was NOT treatable. And any medical doctors (to say nothing of scientists, health journalists, or other professionals) who said otherwise were ostracized, vilified, censored, and even forced to stop practicing medicine.
No biggie. You think that the “crisis of compassion” we’re seeing in medicine is lit.
Doctors prescribing remdesivir, a drug so toxic to the kidneys that nurses have dubbed it, “Run-Death-Is-Near”?
Sweetness and potato chips!
Doctors enforcing cruel COVID policies that kept families away from dying loved ones and forced the elderly to die in near-total isolation with no one to put a cold washcloth on their forehead, hold their hand, or whisper a loving word?
That’s the ticket toan early grave (see #1)good health! You love getting iatrogenic illnesses that keep you and your children sick for life.
I saved the best for last. This is one of my favorite things about doctors and the main reason I trust them so much. It’s so fabulously fabuloso. Doctors give you and your children medications and order you to say yes to so-called preventative measures that contain toxic ingredients and/or have horrible side effects. Then they treat you with more medications for the side effects they’ve induced.
I just love how doctors
✔️Prescribe antibiotics for colds and other viral infections, leading to a depleted microbiome, gut dysbiosis, and the need for many more visits to said doctors, as well as to gastroenterologists and other specialists.
✔️Insist you follow a bloated and unscientific vaccination schedule that results in higher infant mortality rates and sometimes devastating autoimmune conditions and neurological disorders. They can then prescribe medication to manage these conditions. Woo-didly-hoo! These meds are often made by the very same companies making the vaccines. It’s the perfect business model. A win-win, for the doctors and Big Pharma, anyway. (Except you can’t be a customer for life if you or your child dies. That’s the only drawback.)
✔️Ignore the evidence that shows that fevers are helpful and acetaminophen, the main ingredient in Tylenol, is unsafe for pregnant women and young children. Your doc suggest you give it to your child! Because, hey, every doctor does! It causes neurological damage? Pshaw! And so what if autism now affects 1 in every 30 children? And that the average life expectancy for a child with autism is between 36 and 39 years old? No skin off doc’s nose.
You’re convinced now, aren’t you neighborino? I’ve helped you banish that sneaking snaking suspicion that your doctor might not always have your best interests in mind? Whatever you do, don’t find a gentler more evidence-based doctor who individualizes your care, spends all the time you need with you, and even—gasp!—recommends alternative healers (like chiropractors, massage therapists, acupunctures, and others) when and if you need them.
Imagine the repercussions if you did. The vibrancy. The happiness. The good health.
That. Would. Really. Not. Be. Good. After all, Big Medicine is counting on you to stay sick.

Bingo! I've known Tylenol was toxic since it became the only painkiller/fever reducer available in hospitals thirty/forty years ago... Thanks for this, I'd show it to my MD but she might then really kill me.
I love tongue in cheek articles like this. My wife is an integrative MD and even as a PCP she advocated for 1/2 hour regular visits and minimum45 minute 1st visits. She interned in Lancaster PA in the 90s with a phenomenol doc .
