Did an award-winning vaccine developer lose his job for promoting informed consent?
Nikolai Petrovsky is a medical researcher based in Adelaide, South Australia.
According to his LinkedIn profile, Petrovsky is a professor, company director, and coronavirus vaccine developer.
Indeed, he is the founder and research director of Vaxine, a biotechnology company.
His company website describes him as a “world-renown expert in vaccine development and immunology.”
“I publicly expressed the view that people should have a free choice whether to get COVID-19 vaccinated”
Yes, he is entrenched in Big Medicine. And, yes, Petrovsky advocates for informed consent.
In fact, he’s always insisted that patients should have the right to know the risks and benefits of any given vaccine, as well as the alternatives (to wit: delaying getting vaccinated until more safety studies have been published or not doing the vaccine at all).
Now Petrovsky alleges that his insistence that the good citizens of Australia should have the right to choose when to get vaccinated, which brand to take, and even whether they need a COVID vaccine at all has cost him his job and his standing in the medical community.
Treated as an enemy of the state
