For the past year and a half, Mohammed Tisir Otahbachi has been in near constant and debilitating pain. The young father, who is 29 years old and lives in Quebec, told the CBC that he feels like he’s wasting his time, his life, and his health.
Tisir has an excruciatingly painful skin condition which started after his first dose of Moderna’s mRNA vaccine, which he got at a Walmart in Gatineau on July 15, 2021.
Ten days after getting the vaccine, he noticed small blisters on his right hand. The topical cream suggested by a pharmacist did nothing to clear up the rash.
Though he secretly wondered if the vaccine might have had something to do with the problem, Tisir told the CBC that he went back for a second dose on August 13, 2021.
Like so many others, he was presumably eager to get vaccinated, wanted to be protected against the SARS-CoV-2 virus that seemed to be claiming so many lives, and felt grateful to be doing his part to end the pandemic.
But two days after the second mRNA vaccine, Tisir’s health took a nose dive.
Burning Throughout His Body
He felt a burning sensation throughout his body: on his hands, arms, legs, and back. He tried to get treatment at a local hospital. He and his father waited for 23 hours, and then left. After that he tried to find a doctor—any doctor—to see him, but wasn’t able to make an appointment. The Canadian healthcare system was so overwhelmed and backed up that it was even impossible to book an appointment at a walk-in clinic.
In the meantime, the skin condition worsened. The rash, which one Ottawa allergist described as “a severe blistering, weeping peeling eczematoid skin reaction,” covered most of his body. An Uber driver and mover with a baby on the way, Tisir was in so much pain he could no longer work, so his wife became the family’s only breadwinner.
“[M]y body was burning,” he told the CBC. “I was not able to touch anything, even water … At that time, I was dying, I needed any solution. The pain I was in, you cannot imagine it. I couldn’t sleep many nights, months, weeks … my normal life was done.”
An Intractable Rash
When he finally got an appointment at a medical center in Ottawa, where he had to pay out of pocket (with money he borrowed from his father), Tisir was prescribed a topical anti-fungal ointment as well as antibiotics, and referred to a dermatologist. He also paid out of pocket for the dermatologist, who prescribed him an antihistamine and more topical medicine.
The rash proved intractable. None of the prescription medication seemed to make the slightest difference.
Not only that, the doctors who treated Tisir dismissed the suggestion that there was a link between the two mRNA vaccines he took and the debilitating skin problems he was having.
Skin Reactions After COVID-19 Vaccines
Moderna’s own package insert, available to read in its entirety on the FDA’s website, lists “a bad rash all over your body,” as a possible side effect.
The peer-reviewed scientific literature also confirms that COVID-19 vaccines “can cause a variety of skin reactions.”
These “cutaneous reactions” after COVID-19 vaccines are well documented in the scientific medical literature. They can also occur post COVID-19 infections. They include but aren’t limited to:
1. Epidermal necrolysis (a life-threatening condition where your skin starts to die on your body like a burn victim’s)
2. Eruptions all over the skin that resemble measles (“morbilliform rashes”)
3. Extreme and intractable itching (“pruritus”)
4. Flaking and peeling skin
5. Genital and vulvar necrosis
6. Raised itchy rashes, welts, or hives (“urticaria”)
7. Swelling on the skin and body (“angioedema”)
Gaslit By Canada’s Medical Establishment
But when Tisir brought up the temporal connection between the Moderna vaccines and his condition, the Canadian doctors he consulted ignored him or dismissed the idea that there could be a connection.
Even though he’d never had a skin problem like this in his life, the doctors made it clear that they believed it was just an unfortunate coincidence.
One doctor went so far as to say that the condition was likely an allergic reaction to the gloves he always wore, or to the shampoo brand he’d been using for years.
A Doctor Willing to Listen
With at least one notable exception.
An allergist based in Ottawa, Dr. Antony Ham Pong, put in writing that Tisir’s severe weeping, blistering condition appeared after the COVID vaccines.
“There appears to be a significant temporal relationship to receiving the vaccine and his skin symptoms. While there is no absolute proof that the COVID-19 vaccine caused this condition, the time relationship ... strongly suggests that the vaccine played a role in bringing these symptoms on.”
By then Tisir’s wife had given birth to a baby girl they named Julia. Today she cares for her daughter, her husband, and is still the family’s only breadwinner.
While some of the treatments he’s tried has provided him with some relief, they are very expensive and he’s still been too sick to work.
“…he does not deserve it,” his wife told the CBC. “He’s a great dad, he’s a great husband. As a family we’re a victim of what happened. It’s not really fair for a family who are just starting their life to live this.”
Tisir’s suffering has come to light because he is seeking compensation from the Canadian government, in part to pay for the very expensive medications that seem to give him some relief. And now that it is making the rounds on the internet, hundreds of others who have experienced severe skin reactions and other life-debilitating side effects post COVID-19 vaccines are coming forward to share their suffering as well.

Sudden, Unexpected, Age Inappropriate Deaths
My heart is broken for these victims. It is unimaginable what we are living through at the moment. Truly insane and evil people are at the helm.
My husband came down with horrible eczema on his legs after being exposed to our grandson who had just been vaccinated. (The grandson nearly died from a prolonged transient seizure which left him unconscious for hours. “Coincidence,” of course.) My husband had never had eczema in his life. What helped clear it up was seaweed and aloe. I soaked sheets of kelp and draped them on his legs. This is the only thing that brought relief. Between kelp treatments we used an aloe gel. Eventually it cleared up, but it took about 2 months of treatment. I hope your friend can try this remedy, and I hope it helps.
