Back in March of 2020, we were told to do our part and stay home to stay safe from the virus; mask ourselves and our families to stay safe from the virus; avoid friends and family to stay safe from the virus.
The message was clear: A deadly super virus was infecting the planet and we had to outsmart it or die.
At the same time, we were told that it would take “two weeks to flatten the curve,” that is, to keep too many people from getting infected, and to keep the hospitals from being overwhelmed with COVID patients.
That was over two years ago. We’re nearly halfway into 2022 and every day it seems like the meme was right and that we’re in “2020 too.”
Mainstream media can’t stop promoting fear
I made the mistake of listening to news radio yesterday. Nearly every story focused on COVID, accompanied by scary music to keep listeners feeling fearful.
Vice President Kamala Harris has tested positive!
Pfizer is petitioning for approval for a booster shot for children ages 5 to 11, which is the only way to stay safe!
Though 75 percent of America’s children and nearly 60 percent of adults have had the virus, getting vaccinated and boosted are the only solution to this crisis!
Here's what’s being left out of the endless, scratch-the-surface, fear-mongering COVID coverage:
We humans evolved to cohabitate with viruses.
We have full viral genomes spliced into our own genome.
Viruses are not our enemies
It’s possible, in fact it’s quite likely, that our symbiotic relationship with viruses is responsible for great leaps in our evolution.
Which means that viruses are not our enemies. As one peer-reviewed paper in the Annual Review of Virology puts it, viruses are our “intimate partners.” As such, they are crucial to our health and wellbeing.
In other words, we do not need to fear this virus in particular, nor do we need to fear illness in general.
It’s not getting sick that’s the problem when it comes to infections. Or having a fever. On the contrary, as counterintuitive as this may sound, getting sick confers myriad health benefits.
What we do need to fear is a severe reaction or a bad outcome. Dying from COVID—or any other illness—is what we are trying to avoid.
Why do some people get so sick while others are completely asymptomatic or have mild symptoms that resolve quickly with no lasting ill effects?
The truth is we want our immune systems to be awake so our bodies are able to protect us from harmful pathogens. At the same time, we don’t want our immune system to attack our own cells and tissues. An over-active immune system with nothing to fight against creates autoimmune disorders. These are chronic conditions, which can be devastating and even lethal.
How do we keep our immune systems healthy?
So the real question we should be asking is how do we keep our immune systems healthy and on-line without them becoming dysfunctional? In other words, how do we keep from dying from COVID-19?
Public health officials say there’s only one way: COVID vaccines!
The status quo point of view is that the human immune system is so weak and feeble that it must be augmented by vaccination.
This highly lucrative for-profit intervention is promoted by Big Business, Big Food, Big Medicine, Big Pharma, Big Tech, and Big Government.
These are the same entities, by the way, that spend millions of dollars to dupe women into believing that their delicious human breast milk must be “supplemented” with a factory-made artificial milk product in order to best feed their newborns.
And that destroy our soil and our crops with glyphosate and other toxins.
And that take nutrients out of food and then sell an edible food-like product back to us that is devoid of nutrition but labeled as “natural” and “enriched.”
So how do you best support the immune system so as not to die from COVID or any other infectious diseases?
This is a complicated topic, of course, about which literally thousands of books have already been written. At the same time, what we think we understand today may change tomorrow as our knowledge about human immunity deepens, becomes nuanced, and changes.
