After my husband declined, the doctor came in and asked my husband again about the flu shot and he explained that we had discussed it and we wouldn't be doing the flu shot this year. Well, that set the doctor in a rage and she started yelling about how we were killing our children and to look at them and tell them bye because we would never see them again because they would be dead. My husband and my children were shocked!!! She eventually stormed out but them came back for a 2nd round of intimidation. Yelling that our God would not save our children from the flu. It was a 30 minute visit. So almost 30 minutes of her ranting about the flu shot. She never discussed the lab work and barely looked at the girls.
First off, I was really proud of my quiet husband for sticking to our plan and happy he got to see how doctors are all about vaccines. The girls were traumatized by the doctor's attitude. We never went back. That day made me realize that something else was happening behind the scenes. Why was she so intent that the girls get the flu vaccine, bonus from the insurance, the state? I don't know. But whatever it is, we want no part.

What is her name? We need to know so we can all avoid her. It's also not too late for you to file a complaint with the Oregon Medical Licensing Board.
This sounds familiar to what happened to us when we started seeing a new doctor in FL. She was a DO, which is why we chose her. From the first visit, I was doubtful that she was the physician for us but I gave it a few more chances. The straw that broke the camel's back was when I took my 22 yr old autistic son in for a lab follow up. She started in about the Covid shots, something we had already declined. She said we were putting her and everyone in her office at risk by not taking the shot (even tho we weren't sick? And she was also putting us, and everyone in her office at risk as well, since the shot doesn't prevent the spread.) So then she asked about his child hood vaccinations. I told her he had all the ones on the schedule. She started asking about the ones that are recommended but aren't on the schedule (at least weren't when he got his last shots), like the HPV vax. I told her we had discussed that with his pediatrician as well as a doctor friend we knew, and decided that the risks outweighed the benefits for him. He has a rare genetic disorder and we are careful about what treatments we decide on.
Let me tell you, this woman ranted for 20 minutes straight telling my autistic son with cognitive disability that he will get cancer and die if he didn't get this shot. She didn't phrase it like "well, you know, the HPV shot reduces the chances of getting cancer by X percent blah blah blah". She full out said he would get cancer and die and it was preventable and why did he want to die from cancer? I tuned her out and was already planning to find a new doctor at that point. She then told her medical assistant rather curtly, as we were checking out "I want his pediatric records. I want to see his child hood vaccinations."
We fired her and found a new doctor. I'd never had any issue with my long term doctors in the past. I was just floored.

I think that your speculation about personal gain being the motive for such behavior is astute, Shayla.
That said, my thoughts have turned to an examination of non-monetary gain as the primary motivation for the unprofessional and unethical behavior you describe. The Covid debacle has brought this sort of seemingly irrational medical authoritarianism into the public awareness in a way that I've never seen before now.
My own working hypothesis is that what that doctor feared was the possibility of being blamed for poor outcomes. She projected her fear onto you and your family, using blame-and-shame tactics and becoming enraged when your disobedience rendered those tactics ineffective.
In other words, what she hoped to gain was status and an enhanced reputation, and what she stood to lose was validation of her omnipotence and omniscience.
That desperate need for validation is a potent motivating impulse. We see it all 'round us, every day.
I'm not asserting that monetary gain is an inherently trivial factor, but it cannot explain the deep emotional investment that drives intellectually insolvent and morally bankrupt exhibitions such as the one you've related.
An old college friend pointed out to me that the most intellectually interesting students in our class generally didn’t go into medicine. He said it was more the obedient grinds. His theory has stuck in my mind.

I feel like my gyn oncologist violated my rights. I had an ovarian tumor removed by him in January 2019. It was a borderline mucinous tumor, so while I did not need further treatment beyond a major surgery, I did need regular follow ups, for life, to ensure no recurrence and possible escalation of a recurrence to a full blown cancer. Anyway, I had numerous follow ups with him at first, a couple of which were during the pandemic but pre-vaccine rollout. During those visits I had to complete a screening questionnaire regarding any possible Covid symptoms. No big deal. Fast forward to August 2021 when I was a scheduled for a follow up with him. The vaccine had been "approved" as Cominarty just days before my scheduled appointment. The very day before my appointment I get a call from his office. The girl on the phone told me that in order to be seen by him, I'd now either need to be vaxxed or take a Covid test. Evidently their screening questionnaire, which had been perfectly adequate the entire pandemic, no longer was. I told her absolutely NOT, that I'd find another doctor. I'm still mad about it. Basically denying me care unless I test or jab.
It is worth reporting this doctor to the medical board. Every single patient who has been mistreated or dismissed for this reason or experienced any other ethical violation at the hands of their doctor(s) needs to file a complaint.
My wife had to go to the emergency room this spring and they wouldn't let me be with her because I'm unvaccinated. The next day I filed a complaint against the hospital - a "patient advocate" is something very well-established as leading to better outcomes.
The investigation, when they finally did it (I had to escalate to my local state representative) was a sham, and they merely wrote a single sentence saying they found nothing wrong.
However, I encourage everyone to go ahead and file complaints, just don't expect a good outcome - it's a big club and they look out for each other. Instead, realize that "process is punishment" and make those people go through all of the steps.
In my case, the hospital changed its policy a week after I filed the complaint and allowed unvaccinated people to be with their family in the emergency room, so I think it did make a difference.
I'm in California and asked the attorney general for help. They declined, saying it would be a conflict of interest because if I sued they would have to defend against me.

My family dr. threatened firing me back then for not allowing the kids to get any more jabs.
Last year, The skin specialist I went to became abusive verbally and physically when he realized I was not jabbed. It was a horrifying experience and too long to write here. I was traumatized and went to seek help from my family dr( the same one) and she was more worried about him than me.. and she told me she doesn’t want to see any patients in her office unless they have the jab. So, I have lost my family dr and my skin specialist and in my city of over just over 200k, we only have 3 skin specialists!
There is no point contacting the College of Physicians because they are the problem.
There mighty still be a little point, as mentioned above the paperwork would increase to unmanageable levels if everyone reported bad behaviour and they would start to clean house to avoid drowning in complaints.

When I was 3 my parents took me to Michael Reese hospital in Chicago , a major institution of its time. I had my tonsils radiated an excepted treatment of the time. My parents thought they were doing the best accepted medical treatment of the time. Our neighbors daughter also had her tonsils radiated. She died of thyroid cancer in her twenties. I was monitored for years. I eventually developed parathyroid disease and in 2010 I had 3 benign parathyroid adenomas removed. During my nursing career I gave my fair share of vaccines and never really questioned them until they started mandating the flu vaccines to work. I was one of the few who refused and opted to wear a mask instead of the vax. After my grandkids were born I really started my research and feel thankful my 3 children have listened to me regarding vaccines. No covid vaccines for them or my husband. I called my doctor the summer of '21 and asked what they'd do if I got covid. First they said, don't come in. I asked if they'd give me ivermectin and hydrochlorophyl and they said no to both. So, no choices there. I got covid late Sept. '21 and it took a week to get ivermectin from a friend. I'd made my own hydrohlorophyl - which tasted horrible by the way - and it would have been very helpful to have had access to what I needed when I needed it. Castle Rock Family Care is no longer my doctor. I found another doctor - albeit too late to save me from the ravages of covid. As a 71 yr. old, I did get pretty sick, but pulled through after a few weeks. And no, I did not take any vaccines.
I have seen a couple of fake recipes for making Ivermectin and Hydroxy chloroquin that have no basis in science. I encourage you to look at the basic molecular formulas on Wikipedia (first approximation) or elsewhere and convince yourself that making these molecules is not kitchen science. I birthed my 3 children in Palm Springs, CA starting in 2007 and we were fired from at least 3 Peds offices for choosing to not vaccinate. We moved to the Sacramento, CA area and proceeded to be fired from 2 more offices before we finally gave up the need to be seen for “well checks”. Only 1 of my three children has had antibiotics due to a recurrent ear infection. As an RN I am well aware of medicines, side effects and medical procedures. When I refused to vaccinate my first child, the well established Ped looked at me very condescendingly saying he could not keep us in his practice because “if I didn't agree with him on this issue, what else would I question him on?” We had to leave CA in 2015 when Senator richard pan decided he knew better than us parents do and made it mandatory for all institutional school children be fully vaccinated. I recommend every parent explore the teachings of Dr Weston A Price along with Dr Sherry Tenpenny. During covid, I had my children outside running around in empty playgrounds and ball fields as much as possible. It still astounds me to this very day to see parents and their children with masks on. How utterly tragic. Keep up the good work!

My husband & I have been fortunate to find & work with medical care providers of several types of practices - MD, NP, DC to list some. So many, many doctors have been led down the wide path to satan's lair instead of staying on the narrow path that leads to the creator who treasures & loves all, even those who choose to walk away from that love & saving grace. But, thankfully, not all have. Keep up the fight to awaken the lost care providers & the lost patients. Keep defending the medical care providers who are on the narrow path & the patients who seek them out & work trustingly & faithfully together to make the decisions right for themselves & their family members. Every family deserves to be treated respectfully. That said, do you really want them to treat your family if they are disrespectful or refuse to listen? I say first find another doctor (as I had to during Covid — not because of the doctor but because of his nurses, who wouldn’t let me see him because I couldn’t wear a mask) and then RUN as fast as you can to that new doctor. I like your advice, Jennifer: then file a complaint.
If Facebook and Twitter and Youtube can isolate someone and make their name mud then turning the tables is obligatory. I think there will soon be a place that people can write about bad things that people have done. There used to be Hello Peter but have not heard about if for 20 years, perhaps it was finding too much real bad actors and propaganda did not protect. A new version that is intended to collate failure of individuals to follow their duty or laws they have promised to uphold would be great. If there was a big enough pile on someone a lawyer might take on a class action for a percentage. This platform must be Open Source, Distributed and open to all. There need to be ways that the community can weigh in to fix false accusations and to campaign to have bad actors removed from their posts.

We are particularly concerned about physicians who use their authority to denigrate vaccination at a time when vaccines continue to demonstrate excellent effectiveness against severe illness, hospitalization and death.
We all look to board certified physicians to provide outstanding care and guidance; providing misinformation about a lethal disease is unethical, unprofessional and dangerous. I have had good experiences filing complaints with our Attorney General, who is on our side.

Only 1 of my three children has had antibiotics due to a recurrent ear infection. As an RN I am well aware of medicines, side effects and medical procedures. When I refused to vaccinate my first child, the well established Ped looked at me very condescendingly saying he could not keep us in his practice because “if I didn't agree with him on this issue, what else would I question him on?” We had to leave CA in 2015 when Senator richard pan decided he knew better than us parents do and made it mandatory for all institutional school children be fully vaccinated. I recommend every parent explore the teachings of Dr Weston A Price along with Dr Sherry Tenpenny. During covid, I had my children outside running around in empty playgrounds and ball fields as much as possible. It still astounds me to this very day to see parents and their children with masks on. How utterly tragic. Keep up the good work!

Jennifer, I so appreciate your research, interactions with medical doctors of both persuasions, your humor & your thorough & unabashed courage to tell the world of your readers the truth about what is going on in today's world of demons trying to rid the world of those dubbed as unworthy of living healthy lives. My husband & I have been fortunate to find & work with medical care providers of several types of practices - MD, NP, DC to list some. So many, many doctors have been led down the wide path to satan's lair instead of staying on the narrow path that leads to the creator who treasures & loves all, even those who choose to walk away from that love & saving grace. But, thankfully, not all have. Keep up the fight to awaken the lost care providers & the lost patients. Keep defending the medical care providers who are on the narrow path & the patients who seek them out & work trustingly & faithfully together to make the decisions right for themselves & their family members. Also, pray for the divisiveness to end & cooperation & respect to return. Thank you!

Every family deserves to be treated respectfully. That said, do you really want them to treat your family if they are disrespectful or refuse to listen? I say first find another doctor (as I had to during Covid — not because of the doctor but because of his nurses, who wouldn’t let me see him because I couldn’t wear a mask) and then RUN as fast as you can to that new doctor. I like your advice, Jennifer: then file a complaint.
If Facebook and Twitter and Youtube can isolate someone and make their name mud then turning the tables is obligatory. I think there will soon be a place that people can write about bad things that people have done. There used to be Hello Peter but have not heard about if for 20 years, perhaps it was finding too much real bad actors and propaganda did not protect. A new version that is intended to collate failure of individuals to follow their duty or laws they have promised to uphold would be great. If there was a big enough pile on someone a lawyer might take on a class action for a percentage. This platform must be Open Source, Distributed and open to all. There need to be ways that the community can weigh in to fix false accusations and to campaign to have bad actors removed from their posts.
I could not help but be reminded of this letter. A Dr. friend of mine forwarded it to me after I expressed concern about the shots. Her reaction to the letter was blind faith in these governing bodies, and she highlighted the "overwhelming evidence..." All I got from this letter was heavy handed censorship....

The Federation of State Medical Boards (FSMB), which supports its member state medical licensing boards, has recently issued a statement saying that providing misinformation about the COVID-19 vaccine contradicts physicians' ethical and professional responsibilities, and therefore may subject a physician to disciplinary actions, including suspension or revocation of their medical license. We at the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM), the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), and the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) support FSMB's position. We also want all physicians certified by our boards to know that such unethical or unprofessional conduct may prompt their respective board to take action that could put their certification at risk.
Expertise matters, and board certified physicians have demonstrated that they have stayed current in their field. Spreading misinformation or falsehoods to the public during a time of a public health emergency goes against everything our boards and our community of board certified physicians stand for. The evidence that we have safe, effective and widely available vaccines against COVID-19 is overwhelming. We are particularly concerned about physicians who use their authority to denigrate vaccination at a time when vaccines continue to demonstrate excellent effectiveness against severe illness, hospitalization and death.
We all look to board certified physicians to provide outstanding care and guidance; providing misinformation about a lethal disease is unethical, unprofessional and dangerous. In times of medical emergency, the community of expert physicians committed to science and evidence collectively shares a responsibility for giving the public the most accurate and timely health information available, so they can make decisions that work best for themselves and their families.

It's not vaccine-friendly doctors who are being persecuted. Headline correction needed.
Pat: Vaccine-friendly is a phrase coined by Dr. Bob Sears, M.D. It refers to doctors who give informed consent and "allow" (which is the wrong word but it's the only one I can think of right now) patients to no vaccines, some vaccines, or all vaccines. Our book, The Vaccine-Friendly Plan, is a plan that supports parents' rights and informed consent. And, yes, we are being persecuted.
