Oh Jennifer, to this 80 yo this inspirational article about a vivacious and fully engaged 96 yo is so inspiring. I'll share this with my group of 16 who I send "covid??" research to that they're too busy to always search for themselves. Thanks for sharing!
Loved this and read much aloud to my husband. A lot reminded me of my own mom who lived to almost 102. I had never asked myself exactly what secrets to longevity she held. This provided great insight. Brava to your remarkable mother!
My father will be 96 in a few months but he is not quite that active. He still lives at home by himself and occasionally drives. He has done nothing special to have lived so long. I guess age isn't the thing but how you feel and what you do at any age. I think it is mostly a mental thing. Nice to read this. Thanks.
I am thinking that this 90+ year old could start a zoom...and we can learn...how to bake bread, hamburger rolls, cinnamon buns, can, sew etc...I am ready to learn to have such skills. I can bake bread and what not and when I do I am never certain it will work out. Can you imagine doing those baking tasks and knowing it will work and be delicious every time? What luxury!

Wonderful sharing this. I'm thinking of doing a needlepoint in her honor. I won't but this deserves a needlepoint.
