That there is what we call divine intervention! Great story. It put a smile on my face.

SFG, to add to your point, I don't know what faith I am keeping, but Divine Intervention happens.

This story touched my heart... it resonated both as an autistic person and as a mom to two autistic children.

A powerful truth that touched my heart: Your daughter's words, "...this is why I exist," prophesied God the Father's heart, mind, and will for her. Through this community, she is experiencing acceptance in His presence and enjoyment in His company. And to know Him is to discover who she really is.

Yes. Thank you, Jan. I will pass this comment along to Michelle O'Neil. Riley is a wonderful young woman with a voice like an angel's. She's Michelle's daughter.

It is one big adventure. I have started saying this to myself and others when there are reasons to get upset. It is a very comforting way of seeing things.

God bless you and your daughter! I too agree with your grandmother, the good Lord is always watching over us. We need to remember he’s driving the bus and yes things will always work out! God has a good sense of humor. Things don’t always work out the way that WE think they should, but they always work out for the best. We just need to keep the faith! Thank you for sharing your lovely story! 💕

beautiful! The church trajectory resonates for sure and we are back 2-4x a week at church, Bible studies, men's groups... That was a part of the pandemic story that makes me think of the pandemic as a blessing to my whole family and families like ours.

I have sung in the choir a few times in the last few years, and that feeling of "this is why I exist" has filled me there as well. While singing The Blessing Song in the pre-service rehearsal, I was completely overwhelmed by The Spirit, literally tingling from head to toe, and as close to tears as a Gen X male can get. Praise God for this church entering the life of Michelle's daughter so that she can experience all that she is here to be!

Yes. They do. My mom (long gone from us) always used to say "Everything always happens for the best." Thanks for sharing that. I'd love to hear her sing!
